One of Roseville’s most popular shopping malls is gearing up to say goodbye to a longtime tenant this month amid a revamp.

Forever 21 will permanently close its storefront at Westfield Galleria’s Promenade area after 15 years of business, said Marketing Director Jennifer Crowley.

Crowley said Forever 21’s lease ended and a new tenant is moving into the more 14,000 square-foot space at 1173 Galleria Blvd., Suite P 107, but remained tight-lipped about who would take the spot. Its last day will be March 31.

“We do have a tenant who’s going to be moving into that space, we’re just not quite able to announce that yet,” she told The Sacramento Bee on Thursday via phone, adding that the mall plans to reveal who in the next few months.

On Tuesday, the mall announced at least seven new retailers are coming to the mall over the next couple of years, from local coffee to luxury cosmetics. According to a previous Bee store, Japanese clothing retailer Uniqlo is also moving in.
