The following cancellations have been announced, due to forecasted inclement weather.
Cancellations due to forecasted inclement weather:
Due to inclement weather, Frederick Community College will delay opening to 11 a.m. on Feb. 17. Classes and activities prior to 11 a.m. are cancelled. Updates by 9 a.m. Saturday.
All Blue Ridge Community and Technical College, Martinsburg, W.Va., on-campus locations will close at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16. On Saturday, Feb. 17, all in-person classes and on-campus activities are canceled. Remote work/online instruction continue as scheduled. Critical Operations report to supervisor.
The Washington County Parks and Recreation Department announces that due to inclement weather all Washington County Parks and Recreation Department and Recreation Center Facilities will be closed beginning at 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 16, through noon Saturday, Feb. 17. As a result, the following recreation programs will be canceled: Youth Dance at Pangborn Elementary School, Zumba Fitness at Ruth Ann Monroe and Adult Drop-in Pickleball at Ruth Ann Monroe. Hagerstown Community College ARCC will open at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 17, for the volleyball program.
