Where will Michigan Wolverines head football coach Jim Harbaugh be coaching next season?

The veteran head coach has been rumored to be seriously interested in making the jump back to the National Football League. Harbaugh previously coached in the NFL, leading the San Francisco 49ers to a Super Bowl appearance, before returning to his alma mater to coach the Wolverines.

Following a successful 2021 season at Michigan, which included a College Football Playoff appearance and Big Ten championship, Harbaugh could be making the jump back to the NFL.

The Las Vegas Raiders and the Chicago Bears, among other teams, are rumored to have interest in hiring Harbaugh.

Michigan’s head coach remains dedicated to the Wolverines for now, though.

College football fans enjoy the news.

“This is actually pretty hilarious and pretty on brand for Harbaugh,” one fan tweeted.

“There’s no way this guy leaves,” another fan predicted.

“You’re telling me this mans wants to go to the NFL?” one fan asked.

“I refuse to believe he’s going anywhere,” another fan wrote.

We’ll find out Harbaugh’s plans soon enough. For now, though, he remains the head coach at the University of Michigan.

Will that still be the case heading into next season, though?
