Football Standings: What's the records, where are the games in Week 12?
Two area high school football teams remain alive entering the second round of the OHSAA playoffs in Week 12.
Northmor in Division VI, Region 23 and Highland in Division V, Region 18 will be playing Friday night. The Golden Knights host Trimble and the Scots travel to Oak Harbor.
Marion County's three playoff squads all lost in the opening round on Friday. Trimble beat Elgin 37-6, Van Wert defeated River Valley 48-30 and Eastwood nipped Pleasant 14-0.
Remaining in the area's four leagues are Highland, Ontario, Shelby and Galion in the Mid Ohio Athletic Conference; Nothmor, Danville and East Knox in the Knox Morrow Athletic Conference; and Shawnee in the Central Buckeye Conference's Mad River Division. All Northwest Central Conference teams have been eliminated.
