Which Strange New Lay's Flavors Would You Try?

Lay's is always pushing the envelope and creating new flavors. But we aren't sure if everyone is ready for the newest one...cappuccino. Through the Frito-Lay's contest, "Do Us a Flavor," customers are able to submit their innovative potato chip ideas in the hope that one day they will be brought to life.

In this second annual contest, the contenders have now entered the second stage of the competition. The four finalists are Mango Salsa, Wasabi Ginger, Cheddar Bacon Mac & Cheese and the flavor of the hour, Cappuccino. These finalists, selected from a wide pool of flavor ideas, will be available in stores at the end of July for a limited time. As for the person who came up with the flavor profile, he or she will receive one percent of the earnings or $1 million, whichever is higher.

Consumers have until October 8 to search for the wild flavored chips and vote online for their favorites. Last year, fans chose Cheesy Garlic Bread chips as the winner. The savory chips beat out other popular flavors like Chicken & Waffles and Sriracha.

Although there have been some crazy contenders in the game, Cappuccino definitely sparks some attention. For all coffee-lovers out there, we are sorry to say that there isn't any actual coffee or caffeine in these chips, but they might settle that craving. We can't wait to see how this wacky flavor does in stores!
