Raw Caramel Apples

  • 2 small apples
  • Date Caramel Sauce (recipe below)
  • Raw Chocolate Recipe (1/2 batch)
  • 1/3 cup chopped nuts
  • 2 lollipop sticks
  1. Gently remove the core from the apple with a knife. Insert stick into apple.
  2. Using a knife, cover the apples evenly with the caramel date sauce.
  3. Roll around in chopped nuts.
  4. Drizzle with raw chocolate.
  5. Chill in the fridge for 15 minutes until the apples set.

    Date Caramel Sauce

    • 5 dates, depitted and chopped
    • 1 tbsp water
    • 1 tbsp coconut oil
    • 1 tsp nut butter of choice (helps to spread onto the apple)
    • 1 tsp agave
    1. In a high speed blender, combine all ingredients until completely smooth. Will take about 5 minutes total. If you are having difficulties blending, simply add more water by the teaspoon full until it smooths out.
