This peanut butter banana smoothie is great for breakfast or as a healthy dairy-free milkshake. Kefir adds probiotics. Cacao, coconut oil and raw honey are powerful anti-oxidants and full of health benefits.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe banana
- 2 tsp peanut butter
- 1 tsp raw cacao nibs or dark chocolate 70% or higher
- 1 tsp raw honey
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/4 cup lactose-free kefir (optional)
- 1 tbsp extra-virgin coconut oil (optional)
Directions
- Combine all the ingredients in a food processor or blender. Puree until smooth. Transfer to a glass and enjoy.
