Chocolate Pear Hazelnut Smoothie

Funny, I had never thought to add pears to a smoothie but it just seemed right paired up with the chocolate hazelnut milk. The banana adds body to the overall smoothie and a little sweetness.


  • 2 ripe bananas - fresh or frozen
  • 1 medium ripe pear
  • 2 8 oz. containers organic chocolate hazelnut milk (used Pacific)
  • cacao nibs for garnishing


  1. In a blender or food processor, blend fruit until smooth. Add chocolate hazelnut milk and blend well. Pour into a glass and top with cacao nibs.
  2. Enjoy!
