Breakfast Casserole


  • slices of sourdough bread
  • 8 Ounce sliced American or cheddar cheese
  • 4 Ounce diced ham or 8 oz. sausage (cooked)
  • 6 eggs
  • 3 cup milk
  • salt to taste
  • 4 Ounce stick butter (melted)
  • 1 tsp prepared mustard
  • 4 Tbsp finely chopped onion


Grease a 9x13 pan. Cut circles out of bread. Put scrapes into bottom of pan. Cover with cheese, ham, bread circles. Mix rest ingredients and pour over pan mixture. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Bake for one hour at 350°F or until golden brown.
