The Perfect Food & Fun Match

I have to tell you, my friends. When I'm watching a game, the last thing I want to do is leave the room to cook up more snacks for those cheering the game on. I'd rather be a part of the fun, watching every play, taking part in the conversation and generally enjoying myself.

Enter Farm Rich, a name that will from here on out be synonymous with game day food.

Actually, that's not true.

Farm Rich is a name that should be associated with entertaining in general, especially if you're like me and would rather be enjoying the people you're with instead of being stuck in the kitchen.

Take these buffalo wings, for instance. Here's what I did. I opened the packet. Put the wings on a baking sheet, shoved them in a preheated oven and walked away. I missed half of a 30-second commercial.

Thirteen minutes later, I threw the crispy, hot wings in a contained with the provided buffalo wing sauce, shook it around and poured it all on a platter with some celery sticks and blue cheese dressing.

The wings were crispy, perfectly cooked and deliciously sauced. I was very impressed with the wing sauce, truth be told, and kept dipping my finger in the extra sauce at the bottom of the platter. Everyone felt the same way.

Just to be ornery, I tested the wings a bit. I kept out a few so they wouldn't be coated in wing sauce and inhaled with the others, and let them cool down. Then I threw them in the microwave, heated them for a minute, sauced them up and put them out for general consumption.

No one could tell. The reheated wings were just as crispy and delicious as the freshly baked wings had been. Score one for me.

You don't actually think I forgot about Sophie, did you? I knew she wouldn't be able to handle the wing sauce, so I baked up Farm Rich's Boneless BBQ Chicken Bites for her and her friend and served the wings with the barbecue sauce included in the box.

The girls loved them and inhaled them in a matter of minutes, finishing them before I even had a chance to taste one. I'd call that a win.

We were also able to try Farm Rich's Breaded Mushrooms, Breaded Stuffed Jalapeno Peppers and Marinara Stuffed Mozzarella Sticks. All three were delicious, but Doug and I liked the stuffed jalapeno peppers the most.

I found Farm Rich products in the snack area of the frozen section in my grocery store. In fact, I'll be headed back there this week so I can stock up for this weekend's games. The good part about that is that I found a great coupon offer on the Farm Rich site so I'll be getting more snacks and saving money to boot. Another win.

You know me; I don't rave about stuff I don't like. I really liked the wings and other snack goodies. We all did. And we think you will too.
