What do you get when you deep fry a waffle? The Wonut! A Chicago bakery called Waffles Cafe has been selling a waffle-donut treat in flavors like Mexican Chocolate, red velvet and green tea.

Taco Bell Testing Restaurants

Taco Bell plans to open up a restaurant called The US Taco Co., which will serve up a pretty different menu. The menu includes a crispy chicken taco, a Philly cheesesteak and even a lobster roll. The location will open this summer in Huntington Beach, California.

Cutting Up Kids' Food

A new study has found that kids behave better at the dinner table if their food has been cut up for them. Researchers from Cornell University discovered that kids who ate foods like a whole apple or drumsticks, foods they had to pick up and bite with their front teeth, demonstrated more rowdy behavior.

Sugary Drinks Raise Blood Pressure.

New research published in the American Journal of Cardiology found a correlation between drinking sugary drinks and higher blood pressure. The researchers examined 410,000 people and found that the subjects who consumed sugar-filled beverages were between 26 and 70 percent more likely to develop high blood pressure than the participants who didn't drink sugary beverages.

Ancient Beer Comes Back to Life.

The Danish National Museum plans to collaborate with Denmark's Skands Brewery to create a beer based on reconstructed samples from an ancient coffin. Scientists examined the 3,300 year old coffin of the Egtved girl, who lived during the Nordic Bronze Age (1390-1370 BC) and found remains of ancient beer made out of wheat malt, honey, cranberries and bog myrtle.
