Snack To Avoid Arguing

A new study found that low blood sugar is associated with more anger toward a spouse. Researchers studied 107 married couples over three weeks. The couples were instructed to place pins in a voodoo doll when they were angry with their spouse. The lower their blood sugar was, the more pins were inserted into the doll. The researchers suggest eating a candy bar if the spouses are about to talk about something touchy, but recommend sticking with fruits and veggies for the long term.
