Bloggers are reporting that the new candy has a subtle spicy, cinnamon flavor. You can still expect the same sugary shell and milk chocolate center.

If you're already addicted to pumpkin spiced drinks, these candies might be the perfect fix for cravings in between. One blogger writes that the new flavor reminds him of "drinking a pumpkin latte."

The new flavor is now available at Target stores across the country, and one 9.9-ounce bag retails at around $3. According to Time, pumpkin spice M&M's should stay on store shelves until Halloween.

Around the same time last year, M&M's unveiled their limited run of Candy Corn White Chocolate candies. A Serious Eats taste test revealed that the orange, yellow and white-colored candies were "sweet" and filled with "soft and creamy" white chocolate.

In November 2011, M&M's released a holiday special Cinnamon Milk Chocolate flavor in Target stores. Candy Blog reported that the color combination included a new maroon hue, and the candies had a "ground spice flavor" reminiscent of Red Hot candies.

It's not just around the winter holidays that M&M's releases special flavors. Earlier this year, an Easter-edition of White Chocolate Carrot Cake in pastel green, orange and beige stocked store shelves. The candy balanced the flavors of warm spices and sweet white chocolate, according to The Impulsive Buy.

M&M's has also come out with special flavors in conjunction with the premiere of blockbuster movies, like this Strawberried Peanut Butter flavor for 2009's Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen movie.

With autumn just around the corner, we're seeing pumpkin-flavored foods pop up in almost every corner of the grocery store. The candy aisle is no exception. M&M's has jumped on the "hay wagon" with the debut of a new M&M flavor for fall: pumpkin spice.

Time's blog reports that the limited-edition flavor is now available at Target stores nationwide, priced at around $3 for a 9.9-ounce bag. The festively colored candy reportedly has a sweet and spicy taste and will likely stick around in stores until Halloween.
