McDonald's Big Mac Special Sauce Gets $18K Bid on eBay

Can't get enough Big Mac? For the first time ever, you can get your hands on a bottle of McDonald's Big Mac Special Sauce—but, only if you're willing to fork over some serious cash!

McDonald's Australia is selling a limited edition bottle of its secret Big Mac sauce on eBay for charity, and the auction has already attracted an $18,000 bid (the equivalent of $23,000 Australian dollars) with eight days still remaining.

The auction page writes, "For too long Big Mac Special Sauce has been trapped in a beautiful, delicious burger - now we've set it free!" If you're not sold yet, the auction states that "everything tastes better when it tastes like the Big Mac," listing steak, chicken Caesar salad, Hungarian goulash and "your boyfriend's gross lasagne" as a few examples of dishes that the special sauce can make better. However, it stops short of the claim that a douse of the sauce will make you like Brussels sprouts.

The winner of the auction will receive a 500 ml bottle of Big Mac Special Sauce, one of only 200 bottles that will be produced, in a branded box and cooler bag. One hundred percent of the auction sale price will benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities Australia.

Only residents of Australia can get their hands on these highly coveted bottles, leaving the rest of us to wonder how much better our special sauce-deprived lives could be.
