Mario Batali Opens New Via Alta Productions Kitchen Studio

Mario Batali's production company, Via Alta Productions, officially unveiled its new production studio and test kitchen in the Flatiron District of Manhattan. This Via Alta Studio space will be where Via Alta Productions' projects are filmed and photographed. Mario founded Via Alta Productions in 2012 to create original food programming with a select staff of chefs and food experts.

According to a press release, Mario, chef and founder of Via Alta Studios, says "The studio kitchen will take Via Alta's programming to the next level! A camera-ready space is critical for our future production endeavors. But we're also excited to use the space for other projects like large and small-scale photo shoots, media interviews, demonstrations and recipe development for both in-house and out-of-house friends and family."
