Lay's New Chocolate-Covered Potato Chip Blurs Sweet and Salty Lines
Snack maker Lay's is rolling out new Wavy Potato Chips Dipped in Milk Chocolate this week, the latest snack mash-up that combines sweet and salty flavors.
The limited-time flavor will only be sold at Target stores during the holiday season, and a five-ounce bag of the sweet and salty snack is priced at $3.49.
Frito Lay's vice president of marketing, Ram Krishnan, tells USA Today that if the new flavor is well-received, it could become a permanent addition to the line-up and open doors to new flavor combinations like dark chocolate, white chocolate and peppermint.
