Dunkin' Donuts to Debut a Croissant Donut

Updated

It's hard to stay competitive with all of the unique menu items that debut so frequently these days. But chains are making sure to stay in the game. Very soon, you'll be able to purchase a croissant-donut hybrid at Dunkin' Donuts. According to The Associated Press, the new menu item will launch nationally starting November 3 for a limited time, over a year after Dominique Ansel Bakery became a viral sensation after launching its trademarked Cronut. (However, the coffee and donut chain has stressed that this is not their version of the Cronut.)
