Cherished Cooking Advice from the Pros


One of the most significant lessons in cooking Chef Marcus Samuelsson ever received was from his grandmother. He recalls that she used to cook chicken dishes for up to three days in a row to use up all of the meat. She would make different dishes from the chicken each time, and from this, he learned that preparing proteins in different forms is a healthy and cost-effective way to cook.
