Cheetos to Launch Sweet New Snack

For the first time in the brand's 67 years of existence, Cheetos will be launching a sweet new snack. In late February, the company will release Cheetos Sweetos, a cinnamon sugar puff snack, swapping out the cheesy taste you're used to for a new flavor alternative.

Snack giant Frito-Lay will roll out the new product just ahead of Easter, hoping to compete with the market for holiday sweets at this time of year.

According to a report from USA Today, Jeff Klein, vice president of brand marketing for Frito-Lay North America, says that this likely won't be a one-time occurrence. "We are looking for growth outside of the cheese puff segment," he told the publication.

If you're wondering whether the new snack will leave its mark in the same way the classic orange Cheetos dust does, Klein has an answer for that. "We believe the orange Cheetos dust that comes off on your fingers is an important part of the Cheetos eating experience—for some it's the best part ... Absolutely there will be a similar playful experience when eating Sweetos," he told USA Today.

If you're looking to get your hands on the new Sweetos, you'll want to grab them when they're released—the puffs will only be available for a limited time!
