A Breakfast Plate Mistake Gone Right

Everything bagel seasoning gets everywhere—on your clothes, in your teeth and naturally all over your plate. If you've ever tried to have a bit of fruit alongside your bagel, you've likely had a bit of "everything" spice on that as well. While you may have brushed it off the fruit, we say, let it be!

Cantaloupe in particular is delicious with a bit of "everything" spice. We love it so much, we recommend making it sans the bagel! All you'll need is salt, garlic, onion, sesame seeds, garlic and cantaloupe. Sprinkle the seasonings on top of a juicy slice of cantaloupe and voila—a salty and sweet delight with amazing texture!

This trick is particularly perfect for those cutting down on processed carbs or trying to lose weight. You can cut the bagel and still enjoy it's flavor (with added fruity flair!). Try this satisfying merger of salty and sweet, soft and crunchy for breakfast.

If you're hooked on cantaloupe and "everything" spice, you may want to try watermelon with salt next! The salt is actually said to intensify the sweetness and make watermelon even more delicious than you thought possible.
