Locals in China's Yunnan province discovered a humongous mushroom this week.

According to Science World Report, the mushroom, a species that is not yet identified, measures 37 inches across the top and weighs over 33 pounds.

Does this Chinese mushroom break a world record? Surprisingly, it does not. In 1998, a giant honey mushroom was discovered growing underground in Oregon; it was over 2,384 acres wide and at least 2,400 years old.
