Sangria has been a popular drink in Spain for ages. Filled with wine and fruit, it has probably been around since the Romans planted vineyards in Spain. Since sangria is super simple to make anyway, adding grilled fruit will make the drink even more festive for a barbecue. This cocktail couldn't be easier to make. Plus, it's a perfectly refreshing drink for the hot weather that you can make all summer long.

Ingredients
1 grilled orange
1 grilled apple
1 grilled lemon
1/4 cup cognac or brandy
1/4 cup Cointreau
1 bottle oaky, fruity red wine
1 bottle sparkling water
