Can I order takeout meals on Instacart?

Instacart customers will now be able to order cooked meals thanks to a new partnership between the company and Uber Eats, the companies announced this week.

In the coming weeks, Instacart users will see a "Restaurants" tab through which they can browse nearby restaurants, see their menus, place order and track deliveries live.

"We're excited that this new strategic partnership with Instacart will bring the magic of Uber Eats to even more consumers, drive more business for restaurants, and create more earnings opportunities for couriers," said Uber CEO.
