This Florida strip club was destroyed by Hurricane Ian. It’s back — but different

If you want to go to Fantasy’s on the Beach strip club in Fort Myers Beach, Florida, expect it to look a little different than it did before Hurricane Ian last year.

The building that housed the venue was among those badly damaged in September when the storm lashed the Gulf Coast. The dilapidated structure eventually was torn down.

But on Friday, customers could enjoy adult entertainment from a handful of Fantasy’s dancers — in a tent.

Yes, a makeshift club has been set up where Fantasy’s stood before the storm, after owners got a permit to pitch the large, white billowy tent on an existing concrete slab on the property.

“A strip club in a tent… That’s not something I’ve ever heard of,” passerby Demetrius Brown told WINK News, which provided pictures of the interior, filled with wedding-style tables and chairs, as well as a small stage.

Oh, if you go, tell your friends it’s not called Fantasy’s anymore and don’t bother calling. The sexy popup along San Carlos Boulevard has been renamed Vixen’s Fort Myers Beach and it doesn’t appear to have a phone.

The club was set to open on Friday after passing fire inspection. On Facebook, you can see preparations were under way. A prop ambulance was parked outside, painted with a set of red lips and this message: “Warning! The girls are so hot you may have a heart attack.”

The temporary permit allows the strip club to operate from noon to midnight on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays through March 24 with a possible extension depending on how things go, reports the Naples Daily News.
