Florida high school football: What would brackets look like if the playoffs started today?
The playoffs are a week away, but the brackets remain very much in a state of flux.
The Florida High School Athletic Association released the latest power rankings on Tuesday afternoon.
Chaminade-Madonna (Class 1M) remains the No. 1 overall team in the state with a 22.112 rating. Cocoa (Class 2S) and Norland (Class 2M) are the only other teams in the state with a rating of more than 20.
The other No. 1 teams in their respective classes are St. Thomas Aquinas (3M), Mainland (3S), Buchholz (4S), Williston (1R), Lake Mary (4M) and First Baptist Academy (1S).
Three teams — Trinity Christian (Region 1-1M), Treasure Coast (Region 3-4S) and Zephyrhills Christian (Region 3-1S) — moved up to the top seed in their respective regions. Trinity Christian and Treasure Coast each won district championships in Week 10, while Zephyrhills Christian is in a three-way tie for first place with Lakeland Christian and Victory Christian for the District 5-1S title.
