Last month, the HGTV star shared a candid snap of herself standing beside her two sisters and mother, Nan Stevens. The photo was taken after a vulnerable conversation with her family on her podcast series, The Stories We Tell with Joanna Gaines.
The pic showed all four women smiling as they shared a tight embrace. During their chat, Gaines talked about an array of topics like her childhood, reflecting on life and her ongoing journey to self-discovery.

The new podcast series was created shortly after the designer released her first-ever memoir titled The Stories We Tell: Every Piece of Your Story Matters. The show has everything, from solo conversations with her and her husband, Chip Gaines, to special guest appearances. All in all, the weekly series really allows Joanna to show a vulnerable side of herself and fans to see a side of Joanna like never before.
