It’s National Signing Day 2024. These 5 Bucks County area football players commit

Duke Greco left Delaware Valley University to become the head football coach at West Chester on Jan. 10, but he hasn't forgotten the Bucks County area.

Five area high school seniors have committed to Division II West Chester, including four from Central Bucks schools in CB South running back Anthony Leonardi and linebacker Sean Moskowitz, Central Bucks East linebacker Dan Voglesong and Central Bucks West offensive tackle Hayden Mulligan. Souderton kicker Rylan Zuk is also in that group that made it official on Wednesday's National Signing Day.

Greco, who went 91-15 in nine years as DelVal coach, clearly believes there are a lot of quality Division II college players at Courier Times/Intelligencer schools.

"The group of guys we have coming in from Bucks County is special," said Greco on Wednesday. "(They are) excellent student-athletes from excellent programs. It's a big win for West Chester."

The Central Bucks players can't wait to get started at the next level.

"Looking forward to being teammates with all of them at WCU," Voglesong said.

"Very neat a decent amount of players (are) going there from around the area," Moskowitz said.

Voglesong was a three-year starting linebacker at East. He led the Patriots in tackles as a senior (81) and junior (90) and was also tops on the team in tackles for loss (11.5) in 2023. He projects as a strong safety.

Leonardi became the second player in CB South history to rush for 2,000 yards in a season with his 2,006, plus a 9.4-yard average and 20 touchdowns (16 rushing) last fall. He joined 2008 grad Eric Reynolds (2,814 yards as a senior) and was picked to the Pennsylvania Sportswriters Class 6A All-State Football Team.

Moskowitz tied fellow CB South senior Adam Oscar for the team lead with 96 tackles (10.5 for loss) as the Titans earned their first PIAA District One championship and reached the PIAA state semifinals last fall. He also led South as a junior with 103 tackles.

Mulligan was a captain for CB West, which had its first undefeated regular season since 2000 and reached the district semifinals in 2023. He started all 39 of the Bucks' games over the past three years.

Zuk, who has a strong leg, made 11 field goals, had 37 touchbacks on 61 kickoffs (60.7 percent) and eight punts downed inside the 20-yard line last fall. Souderton won a school-record 11 games and posted its first 10-0 regular season last fall.
