The first trailer for the new animated family comedy Migration starring Pitch Perfect's Elizabeth Banks and Eternals' Kumail Nanjiani has dropped, and it looks hilarious.

Migration is the latest flick by Universal Pictures and Illumination and is voiced by an all-star cast as a flock of ducks look to soar off into the sunset to find adventure.

Migration comes from the team that brought families Minions, Despicable Me, Sing and The Secret Life of Pets and has its screenplay by Mike White, the Emmy-winning creator of The White Lotus and the screenwriter of School of Rock.

The Mallard family is in a bit of a rut and decides to head south to Jamaica via a fly-by visit, or so they think, to New York.

The film stars Nanjiani as anxious Mallard dad Mack and Emmy-nominee Banks as Pam, the Mallards’ daring, quick-witted matriarch.

Caspar Jennings plays Dax, the Mallards’ confident and restless son, and, making her feature film debut, Tresi Gazal plays Gwen, the family’s innocent and lovable daughter.

Jennings voiced characters in Sing and Sing 2 and appeared in the 2021 film Operation Mincemeat.

Other voices heard in the film include The Little Mermaid's Awkwafina, Hunters' Carol Kane, Schmigadoon!'s Keegan-Michael Key, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's Danny DeVito.

Awkwafina voices the scrappy leader of a New York City pigeon gang; Kane plays Erin the heron, the first friend that the Mallards make on their journey; Key voices a homesick Jamaican parrot locked away in a Manhattan restaurant, and BAFTA winner David Mitchell plays the yogic leader of a mysterious duck farm.
