The first trailer for Candyman star Nathan Stewart-Jarrett's acclaimed new movie Femme is here.

Set to be released on December 1, Femme follows Jules (Stewart-Jarett) as a successful drag artist who performs under the name Aphrodite. However, after stepping out to buy cigarettes one night, Jules' life is turned upside down after being assaulted by a group of men in a homophobic attack.

Months later, Jules accidentally bumps into Preston (played by George Mackay) — the man who attacked him — at a gay sauna.

After realising that Preston doesn't recognise him from the attack, Jules is able to introduce himself and learns that his attacker is in fact a closeted gay man.
