First trailer for Ben Whishaw's critically acclaimed new movie Passages
A trailer for Ben Whishaw's new movie Passages has dropped, giving viewers a taste of what will come in this seductive tale.
Passages is a French romantic drama starring James Bond actor Whishaw, Franz Rogowski and Adèle Exarchopoulos.
Whishaw and Rogowski play married gay couple Martin and Tomas, respectively, who live in Paris.
Their relationship is pushed to its limit when Tomas begins a passionate affair with Agathe (Exarchopoulos), a younger woman he meets after completing his latest film.

The film is directed by Ira Sachs, who co-wrote the flick with Mauricio Zacharias.
When Passages was screened at Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, it landed a 100% Rotten Tomatoes score from critics who reviewed it.
A few months on, the film still has an impressive score, albeit a lightly lower one of 91%.
Passages was also nominated for Best Feature Film at the 2023 Berlin International Film Festival.

The trailer cuts straight to the drama with Paddington star Whishaw's Martin and husband Tomas discussing the night before.
Tomas asks Martin: "You know what I was doing last night?"
As Martin replied: "No, but whatever it was, you sound very excited," clips of Tomas and Agathe passionately kissing are shown.
The one-minute thirty-second teaser manages to pack in tension and lust as the affair grows and cracks in the marriage start to show.
At one point in the trailer, Tomas asks Martin: "Maybe we have to take more risks?"
Without skipping a beat, Martin answers: "So now you are falling in love with someone else, you are taking that risk?"

Passages will have its UK and Ireland premiere on September 1.
Earlier this year, Whishaw gave a disappointing update on everybody's favourite marmalade sandwich eater Paddington Bear.
However, in April it was reported that Paddington In Peru, the third movie, is set to start filming in July with film directed by Dougal Wilson.
Passages is out on September 1.
