The first trailer for Angus Cloud's acclaimed new movie Your Lucky Day has been released.

The film was one of the final projects the Euphoria star completed before his tragic death in July at the age of 25.

The movie centres on a dispute over a lottery ticket at a convenience store on Christmas Eve, with events escalating into a hostage situation.

"This is America… America don't care how you get your money," Cloud's character Sterling declares in the clip, as he questions what he would do if he had $1 million.

While at the store, he overhears a person strike lucky with their lottery ticket, and decides to disguise himself and demand the ticket at gunpoint. However, things are exacerbated when a police officer intervenes and Sterling shoots him dead.

The witnesses in the store are then forced to weigh up their morals for the potential share of the $156 million ticket.

Your Lucky Day comes from director Dan Brown, and is also set to star Jessica Garza, The Boys' Elliot Knight, Jason O’Mara, Sterling Beaumon, Star Trek: Picard's Mousa Hussein Kraish and Spencer Garrett.

Following its premiere at the Fantastic Fest last month, the movie stands at an impressive 100% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes, with Bloody Disgusting saying it "approaches a well-worn concept with style and bold storytelling choices".

Morbidly Beautiful added that it was a "twisty, thrilling, unbearably tense rollercoaster ride that’s difficult to predict and keeps you on the edge of your seat".

Cloud's cause of death was confirmed last month as “acute intoxication” after accidentally overdosing on methamphetamines, fentanyl, cocaine and benzodiazepines.

Your Lucky Day will arrive in US cinemas on November 10. A UK release has yet to be announced.
