First trailer for It's Always Sunny star's new movie Fool's Paradise
It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia star Charlie Day's latest film, Fool's Paradise, has unveiled its first trailer.
The comedy sees Day star as accidental film star Latte Pronto who, despite being unable to understand the world around him, is discharged from a mental health facility and put on a bus downtown. He is then picked up by a publicist looking to replace an uncooperative actor (also Day) and escorted onto the film set.
In an extraordinary change of fortune, Latte is thrust into the limelight with the help of his publicist (Ken Jeong), who is also looking to revive his career.

Now a huge movie star, Latte is gifted his own personal team, talk show appearances, an A-list wife and even gifts from Prince Harry, with everyone around him believing his behaviour is just a fun act.
However, life is not all glitzy premieres and adoring fans, as the pair run into the dark side of the film industry. With fame and fortune proving not all it's cracked up to be, Latte and his publicist are left fighting for what matters most to them.
"Don't worry pal, I'll get us back on top," Jeong's character can be heard saying in one clip, while another scene sees Latte quizzed on his true identity.
The film boasts an impressive cast, with Kate Beckinsale, Adrien Brody, Jason Sudeikis, Edie Falco, John Malkovich, Common and Jillian Bell all featuring.

Alongside playing the lead role, Fool's Paradise is also Day's debut behind the camera, with the actor handling writing and directing duties.
It's been a busy few months for the It's Always Sunny star, with the actor currently appearing alongside Chris Pratt in the animated Super Mario Bros Movie. The pair recently spoke to Digital Spy about the film, revealing which of their previous co-stars they would like to appear in the Mushroom Kingdom.
Fool's Paradise premieres in US cinemas May 12, while a UK release date is yet to be announced.
