First teaser for Barry Keoghan and Jacob Elordi's new movie Saltburn
Barry Keoghan is hypnotic in the first trailer for gothic drama Saltburn.
Nominated at the Oscars earlier this year for his supporting part in Martin McDonagh's The Banshees of Inisherin, this buzzy new project sees Keoghan team up with Jacob Elordi (Euphoria), Rosamund Pike (I Care A Lot) and writer-director Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman).
In the trailer, which displays the movie's 1.3:11 aspect ratio, the intense and twisted friendship between his character Oliver Quick and Elordi's Felix Catton is revealed.
Set in 2006, Saltburn finds student Oliver being drawn into the elite world of Felix, who invites the Oxford outsider to his family's countryside estate, where he encounters a group of twisted individuals that you wouldn't necessarily want to meet on your summer holidays.

A teaser previously released showed Oliver standing shirtless in a cornfield before dropping his pants just out of shot. Two other naked youngsters are seen relaxing nearby, with a lollipop-sucking guy wryly commenting: "Well, well, well..."
Fennell originally noticed the skills of Keoghan back in his The Killing of a Sacred Deer days, telling Vanity Fair: "I just thought, that's a once-in-a-lifetime performer. There's no equivalent. He's just so compelling.
"He's got a kind of sex appeal and a vulnerability and a physical presence and a sort of darkness, or he can at least communicate these things in a way that is very rare."

The filmmaker went on to describe their collaboration as something like "holding hands and jumping off a cliff, because a lot of the time we were looking to make something that is sort of visceral and surprising and dark and sexy, and that takes a lot of commitment".
Saltburn opens the 67th BFI London Film Festival on October 4.
