First look at Olivia Colman's new movie as it gets UK release date
Olivia Colman and Jessie Buckley are reuniting for new movie Wicked Little Letters, with the first image of the project released and the UK release date confirmed.
Wicked Little Letters is a comedy-mystery movie from Me Before You director Thea Sharrock. The film is set to be widely released on February 23, 2024, but it will premiere at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
The film follows Buckley as Rose Gooding and Colman as Edith Swan, who live in 1920s Littlehampton. Their existence is disturbed when people in the town begin receiving scandalous letters and Rose is immediately blamed.

She begins to lose respect in the town and her daughter is threatened to be taken away from her. Meanwhile, Anjana Vasan's police officer Gladys begins to piece together the mystery along with a group of women from the town.
Jonny Sweet writes the script, while other cast members include Timothy Spall (Harry Potter), Joanna Scanlan (The Larkins), Malachi Kirby (Small Axe), Gemma Jones (Bridget Jones), Lolly Adefope (Ghosts), Eileen Atkins (The Crown) and Alisha Weir (Roald Dahl's Matilda the Musical).
This is a reunion for Colman and Buckley, who both starred in The Lost Daughter. In that, they played the same character at different ages and both were nominated for Oscars for their performances.

Currently, Colman is starring in Secret Invasion alongside Samuel L. Jackson and Emilia Clarke. However, Wicked Little Letters is just one of several exciting upcoming movies for the Oscar winner.
She will be joining the cast of Paddington 3, while she was also seen in the trailer for Wonka, in which she will apparently play a villain.
"I think you can tell from the trailer she's not the romantic lead, she's one of the villains. She's a great villain, she's terrific," writer and director Paul King said.
