First look at Jake Gyllenhaal in Road House remake
Jake Gyllenhaal's new film has been teased for the first time in a new trailer.
Road House is a remake of the 1989 film of the same name, which starred Patrick Swayze as a bouncer sent to work at a notorious bar in Missouri.
Gyllenhaal takes the lead in the new movie, which will land on Prime Video in March next year, playing an ex-UFC fighter who finds himself working at a bar in Florida – in a modern twist on the original.

Alongside the Nightcrawler actor, Road House will also star the likes of No Time to Die's Billy Magnussen, Suicide Squad's Daniela Melchior, Famalam's Gbemisola Ikumelo, Euphoria's Lukas Gage and Super 8's Beau Knapp.
The first footage of the new film can be seen in a compilation video released by Prime Video of the new movies and TV shows coming to the streaming service in 2024.
While Road House was only shown briefly within the clip, there was a glimpse of an elaborate fight sequence involving Gyllenhaal's character, giving fans an idea of the action they can expect in the upcoming film.
Back when the remake of the cult classic was first announced in 2022, Amazon Studios head Jennifer Salke said in a statement: "Road House is a homerun for us. Not only is it a nod to fans of the original, but it is also a big, fun, broad audience movie.

"We are thrilled to collaborate with this great cast led by Jake Gyllenhaal, and for them to come together to reimagine the classic MGM film as an action-packed adventure for our global audience."
Among the other projects teased in the clip are new seasons of The Boys and Outer Range, the new series Fallout, which is an adaptation of the popular video game, and Mr and Ms Smith, starring Donald Glover.
New films coming to the platform include sci-fi Foe, which stars Paul Mescal and Saoirse Ronan, and comedy Ricky Stanicky, with Zac Efron and John Cena.
Road House will be released on Prime Video on March 21, 2024.
