FireKeepers Casino has a new, larger marquee overlooking I-94.

Standing at 99 feet, 6 inches — almost twice as high as its predecessor — and surpassing even the heights of the casino’s hotel towers, FireKeepers' new digital sign was formally unveiled to the public Wednesday night.

Crafted with Samsung XPR-E LED panels, with a pixel pitch of 10.4 millimeters, the marquee showcases a resolution of 1056 x 1392 and a total pixel count of 1,469,952 pixels, casino officials said. Its expansive LED display spans approximately 36 feet in width and 48 feet in height, delivering "unparalleled clarity and visual impact."

"We are thrilled to unveil our new marquee, which sets a new standard for size, clarity, and sophistication in Michigan," Jim Wise, vice president of marketing at FireKeepers, said in a statement. "This state-of-the-art installation brings the Vegas-like experience that patrons expect from FireKeepers, elevating our brand messaging presence to new heights."

The project was made possible through the collaborative efforts of several Michigan businesses. Metro Signs and Lighting, based in Warren, spearheaded the project, working in collaboration with Hoffman Brothers Inc., Swan Electric Company, Moore Trosper Construction Company, Buck's Crane, Western Tel-Com Inc. and Elite Welding and Fabrication.
