Final statistics from No. 9 Kentucky football’s 31-0 win over Youngstown State

The University of Kentucky football team defeated the Youngstown State Penguins, 31-0, at Kroger Field in Lexington on Saturday afternoon in a game pitting a Football Bowl Subdivision team against a Football Championship Subdivision opponent.

The ninth-ranked Wildcats are now 3-0 overall and 1-0 in the Southeastern Conference. Youngstown State, ranked No. 23 in the FCS, is 2-1 overall and 0-0 in the Missouri Valley Football Conference.

Kentucky returns to action Saturday, Sept. 24 at 7 p.m. (ESPN2) when it hosts Northern Illinois at Kroger Field.
