If you don’t want to miss out on anything that Square Enix is offering, then the best course of action would be to order the physical Deluxe Edition. The publisher is offering an upgrade path to get the Digital Deluxe Edition content for owners of the game’s physical copy. You may have to wait a while though, as the upgrade will go live after the game’s release. However, if you do choose to go with this option, then you’ll end up with both physical and digital versions of the goodies.

Here’s the thing that most people will probably miss - you can get 2020’s Final Fantasy 7 Remake for free with a pre-order of the sequel. The process requires choosing a specific edition of the game on the PlayStation Store, and the offer is only valid there. Here are the prices of the Twin Pack offerings, which remain the same as the prices of the base game.

  • FF7 Rebirth Twin Pack - $69.99

  • FF7 Rebirth Digital Deluxe Twin Pack - $89.99

The Twin Pack is aimed at new players who are just now getting into the franchise. It’s an excellent value, that offers nearly 200 hours of content if you complete everything. If you fall into that camp, then we recommend sticking with the Twin Pack and not bothering with the other editions.
