French bulldogs are little dogs with big personalities, and it seems that this video that Sweeney the Frenchie shared on May 6th proves it! Sweeney recently earned the title of "Neighborhood Bully" after shoving another pup....and she doesn't seem to feel bad about doing it at all!

The video starts with dad holding Sweeney. Written across the video it says, "POV: You are the neighborhood bully". In the next clip we see Sweeney approach another dog who is laying down minding its own business. Watch as Sweeney walks right up and gives the dog a shove!

I guess Sweeney really is a bully! Sweeney's video went viral and has been viewed 6.5 million times, has over a million likes, and nearly 3 thousand comments. @bolor141 made me laugh out loud and 93.5 thousand people agreed by liking, "I've never seen a dog hit another dog like that LOL!" @B got 90 thousand likes when they laughed, "Lmaoooo not her punking the other dogs!!" @Pria pointed out, "Getting airlifted by harness!!!" and Sweeney's human replied, "Sweeney hates air jail clearly."

Differences Between Frenchies and Pugs

Anytime I watch videos of either French bulldogs, lovingly referred to as Frenchies, or Pugs, somebody in the comment section always asks the question, is that a Pug or a French Bulldog? While the breeds do look very similar, take a closer look and you'll notice that there are two big differences between the two.

If you look at the two side-by-side, you'll notice the first difference: their ears. Pugs have rounded, floppy ears while French Bulldogs have “bat ears” that stand up straight and are much larger than their heads. Their tails are also different: French bulldogs' tails are short and straight while Pugs have adorable curly, pig-like tails.

There are some other differences that you can't see by just looking at them. Frenchies are known for their athleticism and pugs are more chill and less energetic. Pugs tend to be louder and more vocal. Frenchies are spunky and like to be the boss, as you can tell by Sweeney's attitude! This trait can make them less compatible with other pets or small children. They also have a shorter lifespan than that of Pugs; they live an average of 9-11 years while Pugs can live 12-14 years.

Frenchies aren't better or worse than Pugs, they're just a different breed. Simply put, one of these dog breeds might be better suited for your family and lifestyle than the other. Anytime you're deciding on a new pet, make sure to do your research before choosing the one that is right for you.
