FBI raids mansion of YouTube star Jake Paul, finds multiple firearms

Federal agents seized multiple firearms while serving a search warrant Wednesday morning at the home of YouTube star Jake Paul in California, according to the FBI and a video of the raid.
The search at Paul’s mansion in Calabasas is related to an ongoing investigation, but the FBI could not immediately disclose any details because the affidavit in the case is “sealed,” a spokesman for the agency’s Los Angeles office told the Daily News.
Images captured by a local news helicopter show uniformed and plainclothes officers taking several weapons, including at least four long guns, from the vlogger’s massive property Wednesday.
The 23-year-old social media influencer has not publicly addressed the incident and did not return a request for comment.

Wednesday’s raid comes weeks after he drew the ire of local officials for throwing a raucous house party in the midst of the pandemic. A video shared on Twitter shows dozens of young partygoers drinking and dancing without masks or social distancing.
“It’s completely unacceptable,” Calabasas Mayor Alicia Weintraub told The Los Angeles Times. “People need to be wearing masks and people need to be keeping their distance. You can’t be having parties with over 100 people.”
Paul has refused to apologize, telling Insider last week that he doesn’t know whether he would host additional gatherings in his mansion.
“I don’t know what to think of it, to be honest. I don’t think anyone really does,” he said. “No one has answers, our leadership is failing us, and everyone kind of just doesn’t know what to do. But I personally am not the type of person who’s gonna sit around and not live my life.”

The controversial internet celebrity, who boasts more than 20 million subscribers on his YouTube channel, also made headlines in June when he was accused of participating in looting and riots at a mall in Arizona.
He was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing and unlawful assembly over the incident, but the Scottsdale Police Department announced Wednesday it would drop the charges, according to NBC affiliate 12News. Authorities said the charges may be re-filed after the federal investigation is complete.
It was not immediately clear Wednesday if the two cases were related.
Conspiracy theorist radio host Alex Jones was arrested on a charge of driving while intoxicated on Tuesday, March 10, 2020. Jones, who founded InfoWars, was booked in Austin, Tex. before being released on bail a few hours later.

Rapper Trick Daddy, real name Maurice Young, was arrested in Miami, Florida on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020, on DUI and drug charges. Young was apparently found sleeping behind the wheel and in possession of cocaine when police found him, authorities said.
Rapper DaBaby was arrested on Jan. 2, 2020 on battery charges in Miami, Florida. DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Kirk, is reported to have robbed and assaulted a show promoter over a $20,000 show payment not paid in full. One of Kirk's accomplices allegedly stole $80 and poured apple juice on him. Kirk was taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center and his bail is set to $1,500.
"Drinkin' Too Much" country singer Sam Hunt was arrested in Nashville early Thursday morning after cops caught him driving the wrong way down an East Nashville road. Nashville policed booked Hunt on charges of driving under the influence and having an open container in the car.

Singer R. Kelly turned himself into the Chicago Police Department on Feb. 22, 2019, where he was charged with 10 counts of aggravated sex abuse. The charges come after new footage of Kelly allegedly having sex with a 14-year-old girl in 1999 was turned over to Cook County State Attorney Kim Foxx by lawyer Michael Avenatti, who represents the victim.
"Empire" actor Jussie Smollett turned himself in to face a charge of making a false police report when he said he was attacked in downtown Chicago by two men who hurled racist and anti-gay slurs and looped a rope around his neck. Police spokesman Anthony Guglielmi says Smollett turned himself in early Thursday, Feb. 21 and was arrested. The charge could bring up to three years in prison for the actor.
Florida rapper YNW Melly has been charged with the double murder of his friends. The tattooed performer - real name Jamell Demons - is accused of killing Anthony Williams and Christopher Thomas back in October. Demons, 19, and his pal Cortlen Henry are each charged with two counts of first degree murder. Cops say after their investigation, it was determined Demons shot the men and then he and Henry staged the crime scene to look like a drive-by shooting. YNW Melly is an up-and-coming rapper who most recently collaborated with Kanye West on his new album in Miami.

Bow Wow is the latest star to run into trouble with the law following an altercation with a woman in Atlanta, Georgia on Feb. 2, 2019. The rapper, whose real name is Shad Moss, was charged with battery after Atlanta police responded to a call that he was assaulting the woman making the call; Moss stated that the woman was the one who assaulted him. He is being held on $8,000 at the Fulton County Sheriff's Office.

The incident comes on the heels of numerous problems for the actress, including being booked on suspicion of domestic violence four months ago and a hospitalization for a psych evaluation earlier this month.
Rapper Jim Jones was arrested in Georgia on June 21, 2018 after leading police on a short chase in Coweta County. The rapper, riding with three others, had his car searched after finally being pulled over, which led to authorities finding 23 oxycodone pills, a pistol with seven bullets, marijuana, a stolen handgun and a backpack with oxycodone, Percocet, THC oil, a passport and $148 in cash inside. The rapper was coming home from a night out when he got into an argument with the guard, who wouldn't let him in because he didn't have his key. T.I. then reportedly called a friend, who had a warrant out for his arrest. The rapper was released on his recognizance after paying $2,250 bail, according to the arrest record.
UFC Conor McGregor found himself behind bars on Apr. 5, 2018 after he was caught on film throwing chairs and dollies through the windows of a bus filled with MMA fighters at Barclays Center in Brooklyn. McGregor turned himself in to 78th Precinct Stationhouse in Park Slope soon after and was charged with assault and criminal mischief charges the next morning. MMA fighter Khabib Nurmagomedov reportedly got into a scuffle with McGregor’s training partner Artem Lobov, which allegedly caused the interaction.
Heather Locklear was arrested for domestic violence and battery on emergency personnel on Feb. 25, 2018, police said. The 56-year-old actress was reportedly fighting with her boyfriend at her Thousands Oaks home when her brother called the cops. Police noticed a visible mark on Locklear's boyfriend and as they tried to arrest her, she began flailing and kicking and made physical contact with three officials, according to TMZ. Locklear has since been released. She was also arrested back in 2008 on suspicion of driving under the influence in California. She plead no contest to reckless driving and her DUI chargers were dismissed.

The 45-year-old actor was booked on one count of domestic violence simple assault and was arrested in the front yard of the home owned by his wife, Juliet London. The couple is reportedly now addressing the matter privately. London was previously charged with domestic violence in 2012 for a fight with his estranged wife, Melissa Cunningham. He allegedly pulled her hair and hit her on the head. The "Party of Five" actor is a recovering addict, who appeared on "Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew."
"Real Housewives of New York City" star Luann de Lesseps was arrested on charges of battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence and crimes against a person in Palm Beach, Florida, according to reports. She allegedly said, "I'm going to kill you all" just before her arrest" on Dec. 24, 2017. De Lesseps has since been released and is due in court on Jan. 25, 2017.
Country music star Michael Ray Roach was arrested in Eustis, Florida on Dec. 20, 2017 after he crashed into a car while under the influence of alcohol. The 'Kiss You in the Morning' singer drove his Jeep into the back of a car while in a McDonald's drive-thru at 3:30 a.m.; officers noted Roach's slurred speech and bloodshot eyes when they arrived at the scene. Roach was also in possession cannabis oil and charged with possession of marijuana, on top of a DUI.

Comedian and actor Hannibal Buress was arrested on Dec. 9, 2017 for disorderly intoxication. Buress, 34, was booked in Miami at 1:57 a.m. on the misdemeanor charge, according to the Miami Herald. The 'Broad City' actor was reportedly released at 6 a.m. after posting his $500 bond. In a video of his arrest that was spread on social media, Buress asks the officers, "Am I under arrest? For what? Explain what I'm detained for. What am I detained for?" "Trespassing," the officer responds, though he was not charged with trespassing.
Former "Glee" star Naya Rivera was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence.
Rose McGowan turned herself into the Loudoun County Police in Virginia on Nov. 14, 2017 for a drug possession warrant that was issued earlier this year. McGowan was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond, officials said. The actress's belongings tested positive for narcotics back in January and the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority Police Department obtained a warrant for her about a week later on Feb. 1, 2017.
Lou Diamond Phillips, best known for his role in "La Bamba," was arrested in early hours of Friday morning for a DWI in Portland, Oregon on Nov. 3, 2017. According to TMZ, Phillips pulled up to a police officer to ask for directions while intoxicated. The officer suspected the actor was intoxicated and gave him several sobriety tests, which he failed. Philips was arrested and taken to San Patricio County Jail in nearby Sinton. The 55-year-old actor was scheduled to be the guest speaker for the "Voices of South Texas -- Old Bayview Cemetery Comes Alive" kick-off on Friday at Heritage Park in Corpus Christi, but it is now unclear whether he will make the planned appearance.
Perhaps "All My Children" star Shane McDermott thought he was posing for a headshot when he was booked for public intoxication in Galverston, Texas? Following a verbal altercation at a bar in Galveston, Texas, the 41-year-old was approached by police who, according to TMZ, gave him the option to get a ride home or get arrested. The star reportedly demanded police to "arrest me now" before he took this grinning mugshot and was fined $241.
Despite being arrested for drug possession, Melissa Etheridge couldn't look further from bothered in her recently released mugshot from her Aug. 17, 2017 arrest. The singer was caught with marijuana oil on her tour bus at the U.S. Customs and Border Patrol - which she uses to manage the pain from her stage two breast cancer, currently in remission - and was later arrested in North Dakota, where marijuana is illegal. After his ex-girlfriend Heidi Klum confirmed that the two had split after three years of dating earlier this week, TMZ reported that Schnabel was also arrested for having mushrooms at Burning Man on Sept. 3, 2017. He was charged with distribution and manufacture of a controlled substance, a felony, according to the gossip site. The drug is classified as a Schedule I drug. Schnabel, who reportedly pled not guilty, could face up to 5 years in prison if convicted.

The actor, 31, was arrested in Savannah, GA on July 8, 2017 for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and obstruction after no one would give him a cigarette, according to the Savannah-Chatham Police. He was released from a Georgia jail after posting $7,000 bond. LaBeouf was also arrested in 2015 for public intoxication.

The star was charged with Inciting a Riot, Disorderly Conduct, and Endangering the Welfare of a Minor.

The "Fault in Our Stars" actress was arrested, along reportedly some 200 others, while protesting against the construction of the Dakota Access Pipeline in Bismarck, North Dakota on Oct. 10, 2016. The actress, who streamed her arrest via Facebook Live, is due in court on October 24.

While on a layover at Austin-Bergstrom International Airport traveling from Los Angeles to London, the model was taken into custody for public intoxication and drug possession on Jan. 29, 2016. Blac Chyna was reportedly drunk on the flight and fighting with the flight attendant acting "like a drunken fool." Chyna, whose real name is Angela Renee White, was charged with public intoxication and possession of a controlled substance between one and four grams, according to Travis County jail records.
Not (role) model behavior! Stephanie Seymour is pictured after her arrest for DUI in Connecticut. The stunning brunette, 47, was detained by officers in Greenwich after she allegedly backed her flashy black Range Rover into a white Mercedes while she was parked at a stop sign. Cops described smelling a "strong odor" of alcohol coming from the actress's mouth while she was being interviewed. This police report notes: "After six or seven requests for her license, registration and insurance, she finally was able to fumble through her purse, as she handed over her Connecticut driver's license, along with a credit card." It's claimed Seymour had bloodshot eyes and asked her to exit the vehicle to perform field sobriety tests but was "unsteady on her feet". She was arrested after refusing all tests and charged with DUI as well as unsafe backing. Seymour was released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in Stamford Superior Court in early February. "American Pie" singer-songwriter Don McLean was arrested on Jan. 18, 2016 on a charge of domestic violence assault in Camden, Maine. The 70-year-old singer was arrested at his house where he lives with his wife.
EVERYBODY ... Backstreet Boys singer Nick Carter just got arrested. The 35-year-old, who is expecting his first child with wife Lauren Kitt, was arrested on a battery charge on Jan. 13, 2016, at Hog's Breath Saloon in Key West, Florida. Carter and another man Michael Papayan, were reportedly heavily intoxicated before a bartender refused to serve them and the men became "aggressive." Carter and Papayan refused to leave the bar despite being asked repeatedly before Papayan head-butted an employee and Carter grabbed a bouncer by the throat.
On Dec. 30, 2015, actor and comedian Bill Cosby was charged with sexually assaulting a former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his Philadelphia mansion back in 2004. Cosby's bail was set at $1 million as the case is the first criminal prosecution for the fallen funnyman and could potentially lead to a trial involving other accusers with similar stories. If convicted, Cosby, 78, could face up to a decade behind bars.
He's in trouble again! Richard Hilfiger, son to fashion designer Tommy Hilfiger, was arrested over the weekend in Miami Beach for allegedly punching a bouncer after being denied access to a night club due to dress code. The 25-year-old rapper, who goes by the name Ricky Hil, was charged with battery, disorderly conduct and possession of less than 20 grams of marijuana. This is not his first run in with the law as he was arrested again in 2010 for possession of marijuana.
Actor Randy Quaid was arrested at the U.S. Border crossing from Canada at Highgate Port Of Entry on Vermont October 9, 2015. Quaid has been seeking permanent residency in Canada and has been living with his wife Evi, a dual Canadian-U.S. citizen, in Montreal for three years.

Evans allegedly attacked her ex-fiance Nathan Griffith, who is also father to her son Kaiser, leaving scratches and bruises. According to Evans PR account, however, they tweeted that Janelle was reportedly run over after fighting with Griffith who refused to hand over her son when she came to pick him up.
A Memorial Day to remeber! On the night of May 25, 2015, Oscar-nominated actor and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Sam Shepard was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving in Santa Fe, New Mexico. After trying to leave a restaurant, police were called as they quickly gave Shepard a field sobriety test after noticing his drunk appearance. Shepard spent the night in jail and was arraigned the following day as he pleaded no guilty to a charge of aggravated DUI, according to police.
St. Louis rapper Nelly was arrested in Putnam County, Tennessee, by the Tennessee Highway Patrol on April 11, 2015, on charges of felony drug possession. Troopers say they stopped his bus for not having the correct stickers and noticed the smell of marijuana, whereupon they conducted a search and found drugs and several handguns.

The highway patrol pulled over DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, on a highway in the Phoenix suburb of Mesa after he was clocked on radar driving at 102 mph. Simmons was cited for criminal speed, driving on a suspended and revoked license and reckless driving. He was released from an Arizona state prison a month prior after his probation was revoked for failing to submit to drug testing and driving on a suspended license.
Soulja Boy got clipped by cops in a marijuana bust early on Oct. 18. The 'Pretty Boy Swag' rapper, 21, and four other men were arrested in Temple, Ga., after a 'routine' traffic stop led to a search of their black Cadillac Escalade, a law enforcement source told the Daily News.'Upon further investigation, officers discovered a substantial amount of marijuana, hand guns and a substantial amount of cash, about $35,000,' the source said, speaking on condition of anonymity because the investigation is ongoing. According to the police report, a Florida Highway Patrol officer pulled the actor over after his white Mercedes was spotted weaving along Florida's Turnpike. Cassidy, 60, reportedly admitted to the officer that he'd had a glass of wine around lunch time and took hydrocodone (a painkiller) around 3:30 p.m., five hours before his arrest. Investigators claim they also found a half empty bottle of bourbon in the actor's car.
Russell Brand is no longer a wanted man. The British funnyman, 36, was arrested on March 15, 2012 after turning himself in to New Orleans police for allegedly throwing a paparazzo's iPhone through the window of a law firm, TMZ reports. A $700 misdemeanor warrant was initially issued for Brand's arrest after his actions are considered criminal damage to property.
It's round three for the Quaids ... Actor Randy Quaid and his wife are facing burglary charges in California after the owner of the couple's old house reported they had been living there without permission. A representative of the property owner called Santa Barbara County sheriff's deputies on Sept. 18 to report that squatters had been staying in the guest house illegally. When deputies arrived at the house that evening, they found Randy and Evi Quaid, who said they had owned the property since the 1990s. The property owner's representative provided documents that showed his client had bought the home in 2007 from a man who had purchased it from the Quaids several years earlier. A contractor showed police more than $5,000 in damages to the guest house that he believed was caused by the Quaids.Police arrested the Quaids on charges of felony residential burglary and entering a noncommercial building without consent, a misdemeanor. Still fresh in the music scene, Bruno Mars has already landed himself in trouble. The singer was arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession early Sept. 19 at the Hard Rock Las Vegas Hotel, the Las Vegas Journal-Review reported. Bruno, whose real name is Peter Hernandez, was arrested at 2:40 a.m. after hotel security reportedly confronted him in a bathroom and allegedly discovered him with narcotics. Sgt. John Sheahan, a spokesman for the Las Vegas Police Department, said he did not know what drug Mars possessed.
Randy and Evi, were briefly jailed on April 26 by a California judge livid that the loopy pair had ignored numerous orders to come to court. Santa Barbara Superior Court Judge Frank Ochoa bawled out the 'Independence Day' and 'National Lampoon's Vacation' actor and his wife before ordering them held on $100,000 bail each. Ochoa was 'not very pleased with them,' Deputy District Attorney Arnie Tolks told E! News. The pair was arrested last year on charges of defrauding a posh inn in Montecito, Calif., of more than $10,000 by using an invalid credit card.
T.I.'s road to redemption has hit a roadblock. The rapper and his wife were arrested in West Hollywood late Sept. 1 after cops busted them with pills suspected to be Ecstasy, a police source told the Daily News. The newlyweds were pulled over on Sunset Blvd. after their Maybach made an illegal U-turn, the source said. 'It was a regular traffic violation. Then deputies smelled marijuana emitting from the car, and that's when the narcotics investigation ensued,' Sheriff's spokeswoman Nicole Nishida said. 'They found pills resembling Ecstasy. The pills are being tested.'
The Quaids were arrested over the weekend of Dec. 20, reported RadarOnline.com. There was a bench warrant out on the pair for failing to make a court appearance in connection with an unpaid hotel bill in Santa Barbara.

Hilton and boyfriend Cy Waits were driving near the Wynn Hotel when a motorcycle cop 'followed the vapor trail and the odor of marijuana' coming from a Cadillac Escalade, police said. The officer pulled them over and arrested Waits for driving under the influence, cops said. A crowd formed around the stars on the busy Las Vegas strip and Hilton asked to go in the Wynn for privacy. While inside, 'Miss Hilton pulled out a tube of lip balm,' said police Sgt. John Sheahan. 'At the same time ... a bindle of cocaine in a plastic bag came out of her purse.'Hilton was arrested for felony drug possession. She and Waits were booked at Clark County jail around 2 a.m., police said. She was released less than an hour later. Waits, 37, posted $2,000 bail and was released in the afternoon.

Sonja Morgan, the newest cast member to join the 'Real Housewives of New York,' was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence, RadarOnline.com reported. While driving around Southhampton, Morgan was reportedly pulled over by police after she failed to stop at a stop sign on First Neck Lane. According to Radar, the reality TV star failed a number of field sobriety tests and refused to take a Breathalyzer test. She was then taken to the police station where she was charged with DWI.
Former child star Gary Coleman was arrested on Jan. 24 in Santaquin, Utah on a domestic assault warrant and booked into the Utah County Jail, according to the Utah County Sheriff's Office. The 'Diff'rent Strokes' actor was wanted for one count of domestic abuse - a misdemeanor - though it's unclear when the incident occurred. The warrant apparently stemmed from a missed court date. Coleman was held on $1,725 bail. He passed away in Provo, Utah on May 28, 2010.
Bad boy Charlie Sheen spent his Christmas in an Aspen, Co., pokey. Cops arrested the actor on domestic violence charges at about 8:30 a.m., Aspen Police Department officials said.He was charged with second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief and housed in Pitkin County jail, cops said. RadarOnline.com reported that Sheen had a scuffle with his his then-wife, Brooke Mueller, who was renting an Aspen home. Sheen flew to be with his wife on Christmas, but immediately they began arguing. A source told the site that Mueller called police after Sheen pushed her.
Randy Quaid, along with his wife, Evi, were taken into custody by the Presidio County Sheriff's office in Marfa, Texas on Thursday in relation to an incident that took place in California. Quaid, 58, and his significant other were are reportedly accused of leaving a California hotel without paying the $10,000 tab.
The Quaids were locked up again by an angry judge - because of many missed court dates - in April of 2010.
Lil Wayne is headed to the big house. The troubled rapper pleaded guilty to felony gun possession charges on Oct. 22, agreeing to spend a year behind bars. Wayne, whose real name is Dwayne Carter, was hit with a slew of charges after a loaded 9-mm. gun was discovered in his tour bus two years ago. His guilty plea spares him a possible 3 1/2-to-7-years in prison, but he must wait until February to be sentenced.
