My Favorite Seasonal Sam’s Club Treat Now Has a New Flavor

And I'm adding three bags to my cart.

It’s just a fact: I will always have the name-brand staples I buy whenever I’m at Sam’s Club. You just can’t beat the deals on Rao’s Homemade sauce, King’s Hawaiian rolls, and, of course, the famous Chick-fil-A nuggets copycat. But, just as important as the bulk branded items are the ones from Sam’s private label line. In fact, I’d say my buggy typically has more Member’s Mark products than anything else.

It’s true, I’m a sucker for the Member’s Mark bakery items, deli meats, prepared meals, and freezer finds. But where Sam’s always gets me is with its seasonal releases—especially during the winter holiday season.

Sam’s Club’s Member’s Mark Chocolate Peppermint Almonds are my true weakness in life. The peppermint-flavored, chocolate-coated almonds are my all-time favorite sweet treat from the club store. Typically, I buy multiple bags so I can enjoy them throughout the year—especially because Sam’s usually only sells regular chocolate-coated almonds during the other 11 months.

Last year, Sam’s did launch Pumpkin Spice Pecans, which were delicious, but just not the same as the almonds. However, I recently discovered there’s a new variety of coated almonds on shelves and I already know they’re going to be my spring and summer go-to.

Sam’s Club introduced new Member’s Mark Strawberry Yogurt Almonds as an “everyday” item. That means the strawberry yogurt-coated nuts will be on shelves all year long for that sweet fix. Sam’s new Strawberry Yogurt Almonds start with whole-roasted almonds coated in a thin layer of strawberry-flavored yogurt and dusted with a tangy strawberry powder.

Customers have already been rating the new snack highly on Sam’s site, saying the almonds taste like a strawberry milkshake thanks to the sweet, creamy, and slightly tart coating.

“I was beyond amazed at how good these were. They have the perfect amount of strawberry on them. Nice & crunchy with a bang of strawberry. I will for sure purchase again,” said one reviewer.

I've even learned a pro tip from reviewers: Store the almonds in the freezer or fridge if you want an extra crunch and more ice cream-like texture on the coating.

While they aren’t coated in chocolate like my beloved peppermint almonds, I’m a huge fan of the Stars & Stripes Yogurt Flavored Dipped Pretzels that Sam’s sells in the summer, so I know these yogurt-coated almonds will be a winner, too. A yogurt coating gives a subtle sweetness without overpowering the tasty, salty snack underneath. Add in that seasonal strawberry flavor and, come on. I’ll be eating this treat by the handful until my peppermint almonds hit shelves once again.
