BERWICK, Maine — Local author Steve Carter will be speaking at the Berwick Publick Library, on Tuesday, Nov. 28, at 6 p.m. to share excerpts from his debut novel "All Cars Run to Park Street.”

Child development education

ELIOT, Maine — On Nov. 29 the Seacoast Waldorf School will host parenting expert Chinyelu Kunz, who will discuss how to create a family rhythm and nurturing your child's development. The talk will take place at 403 Harold Dow Highway, Eliot, Maine.

Fashion show

DOVER — The Clothing Library at the Dover Public Library will launch with a Fashion Show on Dec. 1 and then be open for check out on Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. and Mondays from 9 a.m. to noon in December and January. It works the same way a normal library, except instead of checking out books you’ll check out fashion. Clothes for all sizes and ages are available to borrow.

Toy Swap

DOVER — The Toy Swap at the Dover Public Library will take place on Dec. 2. Bring in any gently used toys you no longer need and receive a ticket to come back and swap it for another toy – for free. Don’t have any toys to swap? No worries! Those without a swap ticket can still shop at a designated time.

Holly Fair

STRATHAM — The Stratham Community Church, 6 Emery Lane, Stratham will be holding their annual Holly Fair on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be baked goods, jewelry, greenery, a silent auction and a cafe.
