Farmer Blake Shelton Is Back Singing an Impromptu Song on His Tractor

Blake Shelton showed off his impromptu songwriting skills while riding his tractor.

In a video shared on Instagram on Sept. 5, the country superstar was in farmer mode, maintaining his Ten Point Ranch's land. He made up a humorous ditty while riding on his Kubota tractor. "I'm writing this song as I'm planting my seeds. I ain't got time to stop and I might've just peed," the former The Voice coach belted out.

In the comments, the official account for the singer's bar Ole Red offered an additional verse: "….and all of this farmin’ content is just what we need.” 🎶🤝. " Kubota was also honored that the brand inspired a song by such a famous artist, writing, "Sounds like a #1 hit 🚜🎶."

Additionally, fans took to the comments to share how much they loved the tune.

"😂😂 nice quick little song," wrote a fan. Another shared, "Catchy lyrics🤭." Someone else remarking, writing, "You are just so funny 😂 😂❤️." One fan thought the song should be added to Shelton's tour setlist, noting, "Catchy tune. You should take that one on the road."

This isn't Shelton's first impromptu song about farming. Back in April, he sang about planting corn with his Kubota.

Spur-of-the-moment songwriting aside, it looks like Shelton, 47, is enjoying having a low-key time at home with wife Gwen Stefani and his stepsons after deciding to step away from NBC's hit singing competition show.

In a December 2022 cover story, he told People that he wanted to leave the series in order to focus on sharing quality time with his family.

"Gwen and I have done so much traveling and touring and work the first half of our lives that now we're like, 'Hey, I'm good to put my sweatpants on at 6 p.m. and watch Ozark eight times. That's our life now, and we love it," he said.

The country crooner added, "If I walked away from my career at this time, the only thing that I run the risk of is having regrets that I'm missing out on some more important things in life. For now, that's our kids. This isn't about me anymore and never will be again."
