‘Fantasy library’ in octagon-shaped estate for sale in Washington has folks ‘drooling’

A remarkably interesting house — with a nifty shape — is on the housing market in Sultan, Washington, for $960,000 and is turning heads on a popular real estate social media page.

One room in particular inside the three-bedroom, four-bathroom residence is nabbing all the attention based on the photos: the library.

“Bring your dreams!” the listing on John L. Scott Real Estate says. “Beautiful 6.70 flat, fenced acres in Sultan. Incredible mountain views from this gated estate. The 10,323 square-foot, octagon-shaped home has the bones to be transformed into whatever you want.”

While the listing doesn’t mention the awesome library space, it does name other features that stand out on the property including:

  • Two separate shops

  • Fruit trees

  • Garden space

  • Gunnite pool

  • Spa

  • Sauna

  • Sports court

“While suffering from deferred maintenance, the allure of this estate is inescapable,” listing agent Angela Nebeker told McClatchy News.

That allure is what captured the attention of fans of Zillow Gone Wild, a Twitter account that highlights unique houses for sale.

Omg, fantasy library,” one person tweeted.

I died a little when I saw that library,” another said.

The library has me drooling,” someone noted.

“I think this is my dream home???” one person said.

Sultan is about 40 miles northeast of Seattle.
