The “When I See U” singer looked like a breath of bright, fresh air at the BAFTA Tea Party on Saturday, dressed to the nines in vibrant florals from head to toe. Barrino captivated the red carpet in a transparent chiffon blouse by Dolce & Gabbana, which featured wide, flowy arms, a high neckline with a long front tie that cascaded down to mid-thigh, and a large floral print in white, blue, red, pink, yellow, green, and black. She tucked her lovely top into a sequined midi skirt that featured a silver, pink, and purple peony design, also by Dolce & Gabbana.

Also hailing from the Italian fashion house was Barrino’s glamorous footwear: strappy, multicolor floral-printed Charmeuse Baroque sandals that featured a gilded D and G as the heels. And because you can never have too many flowers, the actor added another delicate touch in the form of a pink- and red-rose decorated headband, along with gorgeous gold-leaf drop earrings by Sterling Forever, a massive glittery diamond ring, and a chartreuse purse. Barrino finished off the look with a dark smoky eye, a glossy nude lip, and a champagne manicure.

Barrino has been frequenting the award show carpet in honor of new movie musical The Color Purple, in which she plays the lead, Celie. Last week, she showed out in full Old Hollywood glamour at the 14th Governors Awards, donning a strapless black velvet gown that featured a trailing train and an ivory satin peplum detail at the waist that was decorated with a large rosette. Barrino was dripping in luxury accents with a diamond tennis necklace, layers of sparkly diamond rings, and diamond-encrusted pearl drop earrings.
