Fans Spot Subtle Tribute to Taylor Swift from Stevie Nicks at Recent Concert

Just over a month after Taylor Swift referenced icon Stevie Nicks in her new album, The Tortured Poets Department, the Fleetwood Mac singer casually paid tribute to Swift at her recent concert.

While rocking the stage at the BottleRock Festival in Napa, Calif., on May 24, Nicks performed hit tracks like "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," "Edge of Seventeen," and "Landslide," wowing the crowd. But some Swifties in the audience couldn't help but notice the bracelet on her wrist.

Nicks subtly supported Swift by wearing a gold chain bracelet with the letters "TTPD," referring to The Tortured Poets Department. The bracelet is currently on sale on Swift's website for $40.

Along with the official Swift merch, Nicks also wore what looked like colorful beaded bracelets, similar to the friendship bracelets that Swift and her fans often wear. It's unclear if the bracelets had anything spelled out on them, as they were partially hidden beneath Nicks' sleeve.

Fans were very excited about Nicks' Swiftie moment, with many reacting online with notes like, "thats so iconic wtfff," and, "See even legends love Taylor."

"You're telling me @StevieNicks and I have matching bracelets now? Sure. That's fine. I'm not tearing up at all. 🥺🤯🥰😭😍 amazing," wrote a fan of both women.

Another emotional fan said, "i’m on the floor sobbing i love them both so much," as someone else declared, "this is so important to me 🥹🥹🥹."

The Tortured Poets Department might be one of Swift's albums that's extra special to Nicks, as the "Fortnight" singer includes an appreciative callout to her in the lyrics of her song "Clara Bow." One verse begins, "You look like Stevie Nicks/ In '75, the hair and lips/ Crowd goes wild at her fingertips/ Half moonshine, a full eclipse."

But on top of that, the album also includes a handwritten poem by Nicks that begins with the dedication, “For T — and me…” The poem talks about heartbreak and dreams, with the final line reading, "She was just making her way —/ to the stars —/ When he lost her…"
