Fans Gush Over Kelly Clarkson's 'Divine' Cover of 'O Holy Night'

Kelly Clarkson

The only thing fans love more than a Kelly Clarkson cover is a Kelly Clarkson Christmas cover.

The singer and talk show host recently took on the Christmas classic "O Holy Night," for a new Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and just like always, fans are in awe.

Clarkson, 41, sounded angelic on the holiday ballad, performed alongside her music director Jason Halbert, who accompanied her on the piano.

The soulful and stunning rendition of the song immediately put fans into the Christmas spirit, with some of them even dubbing Clarkson "the true Christmas queen."

"This is impeccable...a master class in performing," one fan wrote in the comments on YouTube. "Kelly and Jason are magic together!!!!"

"The most beautiful Christmas song...add Kelly’s vocals and Jason's piano playing… o how divine!" another commenter gushed.️

"Queen Kelly just showing how the crown should be worn," someone else chimed in, calling the singer's latest cover "sheer perfection."

Even though fans of the American Idol alum think she is one of the best in the business when it comes to singing Christmas hits, Clarkson recently expressed her own hot take about the queens of holiday tunes.

When Clarkson had Cher on her show last week, the former The Voice coach went as far as to say that Cher's new song, "DJ Play a Christmas Tune," is "the greatest Christmas song to come out since 'All I Want For Christmas Is You,'" by Mariah Carey.

"I'm gonna say it! Fight me on it!" she insisted, claiming that she's been listening to the happy tune so much lately that she believes it's giving Carey's longtime classic a run for its money!
