Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom have earned the applause of countless fans with new photos of the two decked out in extremely "extraterrestrial" ensembles.
The sensational snaps were shared via the "Firework" songstress' Instagram grid over the weekend, and they show the celebrity couple flaunting "starry-eyed" looks, which featured professional science fiction movie-quality makeup and fashion fit for the space age.
The 39-year-old pop singer and American Idol judge had her glam team create a set of glam antennae that blended perfectly with her purple eyeshadow and a full set of lashes. She donned a shimmery skin-toned color gown, which featured a matching cape and sheer corset outfitted with rhinestones.
For his part, Bloom rocked an all-black suit, a white button-up shirt and a silver bolo tie. To make his look a little more out-of-this-world, the 47-year-old actor also took a seat in the makeup chair, letting the pros create elvish ears and bone structure.
"🚀🛸👽spaced out and starry eyed👽🛸🚀," Perry simply quipped in her Sunday, Jan. 21, social media upload.
Though it's unclear where the duo–who share a young daughter, Daisy Dove–were headed, fans were undoubtedly here for the spectacular look (and of course, hopefully, it could mean a reprise of the pop star's song "E.T." or more music on the way).
"WHAT IS THIS FOR?!!" one exclaimed.
Another top-liked comment declared, "E.T. 2.0 IS COMING." Similarly, a few more admitted that "THIS IS SO ET CODED" and that "The ET music video is really shaking rn."
"It’s happening… things are happening," a fourth hoped.
Others took the opportunity to make puns with nods to her 2011 hit track, sharing the lyrics in the comments."You’re so extraterrestrial✨," one quipped before another added,"🎶 It's supernatural,Ex-traterrestrial 🎶."
That said, Kim Kardashian appears to have given it all away, suggesting with her comment that the two got all dressed up for some sort of event, writing, "I was obsessed with this look last night!!!!"
