Fans Bombard Tarek El Moussa With Comments After HGTV Makes Major Announcement about His Show

Good news is afoot for Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa fans!

On Tuesday, April 4, HGTV announced that the popular home renovation show has been approved for a third season. According to the press release, the new episodes will center on Tarek teaching “novice renovators how to turn a profit and avoid the pitfalls most flipping newcomers face.”

HGTV announced the news on Instagram and was flooded with excited comments like "LOVE this show!!!!! Can't wait! And loving The Flipping El Moussa's, too! ❤️❤️❤️🎉🎉" and "Yay! Can't get enough Flipping by Tarek! 🙌." His wife, Heather, chimed in with a series of emojis: "❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥🔥👏👏👏"

As a real estate expert and busy dad of three—not to mention a celebrity with multiple shows shooting at once (see: The Flipping El Moussas)—Tarek is all too familiar with the whirlwind of modern life. As such, he uses his knowledge of being a family man and expertise as a flipper to help hopeful renovators tackle projects for the best results possible.

“The premiere episode will feature brothers Erik and Bryan who have teamed up with their friend Mike to build a flipping empire,” the press release reads. “After their first two flips yielded middling profits that they split three ways, the trio is hoping for better results on their latest house in Los Alamitos, California.”

As always, Tarek is there to help. “Tarek discovers that Erik and Bryan’s constant arguing and miscommunication is about as turbulent as the real estate market, [so] it’s up to him to keep their business strong and their friendships intact,” the release states.

Can’t wait to tune in? New episodes of Flipping 101 with Tarek El Moussa are set to premiere on Thursday, May 4, at 8 p.m. ET/PT. In addition to airing on HGTV, the series will be streamable on discovery+.
