A fan started a New Heights swear jar, and Chiefs’ Travis Kelce is the runaway leader

Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, Jason, call fans of their New Heights podcast the 92 percenters, but one person has given 100% effort.

In October, the Kelce brothers said they should perhaps start a swear jar in an effort to keep the cursing to a minimum on their show.

A fan decided to start that jar herself and even kept count of how many times each brother let the expletives fly. Travis Kelce is the runaway leader as you can see.

Doing the math from those two posts, we see that Travis Kelce cursed 80 times in last week’s New Heights episode and Jason Kelce swore a dozen times.

A new episode of the podcast was released Friday and the siblings talked about the curse jar.

“That’s 33 episodes (since Oct. 11),” Jason Kelce said. “On a per episode basis, Travis is averaging, get this, 68.87 swears.”

Travis laughed uncontrollably and said: “There’s no way. Elaine, what are we counting? Are we counting damn as a swear?

“Elaine, we need you to help us out. What words are you counting? Because me swearing 60 times per episode, that’s ridiculous. And to be honest, it needs to stop if that’s the case.”

The brothers were impressed with the effort shown by Elaine, and Jason thinks the curse jar could be a way for the Kelces to raise money for charity.

“I think Elaine is now the official transcriber of the Kelce swear jar,” Jason said. “I don’t know if you wanted this title but I think as as the official transcriber of the Kelce swear jar, ... I think Elaine should be able to help in deciding where this charity money goes to. If she’s taking the time to count all the swears, she should have a say in what we end up doing, right?”

Travis added: “Honestly, I feel honored that what I don’t always feel proud about, I can now feel proud about.”
